Maryland
Where we work.
Based in Frederick and working throughout Montgomery, Frederick and Washington County. Local enough to be there the same week, established enough to still be here for the warranty.
Why it matters
A local contractor knows what the inspector will ask.
Building in Maryland is not one process — it is several. Frederick County and Montgomery County run different permit workflows, different review timelines and different inspection expectations.
Add municipal layers on top — Rockville, Chevy Chase Village and others have their own requirements — plus the HOA and architectural review boards common across Potomac, Bethesda and North Potomac, and the administrative path becomes as important as the construction.
We work these jurisdictions constantly. That does not make permits instant, but it does mean we submit the right drawings the first time rather than discovering a requirement three weeks into review.
Bethesda
Established housing stock where kitchen and bathroom renovations frequently uncover original plumbing and undersized electrical service. We open up carefully and price the discoveries against rates agreed in advance.
- Kitchen & bathroom remodeling
- Roof replacement & repair
- Porch and envelope work
Chevy Chase
Character homes where exterior changes often need architectural review before a permit is even possible. We factor that into the programme from day one rather than discovering it late.
- Porch construction
- Siding & trim restoration
- Whole-room renovation
Chevy Chase Village
A municipality with its own permitting and review requirements on top of the county's. Worth allowing genuine time for — we will tell you realistically what that means for your start date.
- Roofing & envelope
- Deck & porch construction
- Interior remodeling
Potomac
Larger lots, frequent slope and substantial roof areas. Decks here are usually multi-level by necessity, and roof estimates commonly land in the 33+ square band requiring a site evaluation.
- Multi-level decks
- Large-format roofing
- Custom home building
North Potomac
Newer subdivisions now reaching the age where original builder-grade roofs, decks and siding are all due at once — which is exactly when combining trades saves real money.
- First-replacement roofing
- Deck rebuild & re-deck
- Kitchen updates
Rockville
The City of Rockville administers its own permits separately from the county — a detail that catches out contractors who do not work here often. We do.
- Roof repair & replacement
- Bathroom remodeling
- Low-slope addition roofs
Silver Spring
Dense, varied and often older housing. Tub-to-shower conversions and roof work on tight sites are our most common projects here — access planning matters as much as the build.
- Tub-to-shower conversions
- Roofing on constrained sites
- Siding repair
Germantown
Large planned communities with active HOAs. Colour and material selections usually need approval before work starts — we will give you the submission pack you need.
- Siding replacement
- Roofing
- Deck construction
Darnestown
Semi-rural, larger parcels, and a good number of properties on well and septic — which changes the calculus considerably on additions and new builds.
- Custom home building
- Decks & porches
- Roofing
Poolesville
Agricultural reserve territory with its own constraints on what can be built and where. Feasibility work here genuinely earns its fee before you commit to a lot.
- Ground-up construction
- Porch & deck work
- Roof replacement
Hagerstown
Older housing stock where envelope work — siding, roofing and the flashing between them — delivers the biggest single improvement to comfort and running cost.
- Full re-side
- Roof replacement
- Whole-envelope packages
Frederick
Our base. Shortest response times, most projects delivered, and the county whose permit process we know best. Everything we do, we do here.
- All seven services
- Fastest scheduling
- Emergency roof response
Not on the list?
Call anyway. The line is not a hard border.
These are the areas we work in routinely — not the limit of where we will travel.
For a larger project, particularly a custom build or a full envelope package, we regularly work beyond this list. For a small repair a long way out, we will tell you honestly that a closer contractor will serve you better — and, where we can, point you toward one.

Local
Same county. Same week.
Being local is not a marketing line — it is whether someone can be at your house on Thursday when the roof is leaking.
